Playa Realtors Cares › World Food Programme
For people
World Food Programme
The world’s largest humanitarian organization fighting hunger, winner of the 2020 Nobel Peace Prize.
Our reason
A home means little without food on the table. We support WFP because it reaches families in crisis, after disasters and conflicts, when they have nowhere else to turn.
Playa Realtors makes a donation to World Food Programme every month, as part of Playa Realtors Cares.
Their work
Food assistance in the first days after floods, hurricanes and earthquakes.
Programs for mothers and young children at risk of malnutrition.
Daily meals that keep children in school.
Other causes we support
The Ocean Cleanup
Removing plastic from the ocean and stopping it in rivers before it reaches the sea.
Sea Shepherd
Direct action at sea to defend marine wildlife and stop illegal fishing.
Seaspiracy
The documentary that opened a global conversation about overfishing and the health of our seas.
