Puerto Morelos sits about 20 minutes south of Cancún International Airport, behind a reef that is a national park. The water is calm and the town keeps its low-rise, quiet pace.
Beachfront buildings are few and small, north and south of the town square. Fees rise with hotel-style service in the newer buildings.
Inland, the cenote route and the new neighborhoods west of the highway are a different market, and we keep them out of the beachfront numbers.
