Evenings inside Sian Ka’an are quiet, with village life in Punta Allen and dark skies away from town lighting, punctuated by community events such as the Punta Allen Beach Festival. For nightlife, the southern end of Tulum’s beach zone and the jungle venues on Highway 307 are the nearest options.

Why we recommend it: The Punta Allen Beach Festival is a community event in the village held in early spring; the 2026 edition took place April 4 and 5. It is one of the few organized events of the year at the end of the coastal road.

Why we recommend it: Gitano Beach is a beach club and restaurant on a 120 meter stretch of sand in south Tulum, running from day into night. It opens daily from 8:00 to 22:30 and won a 2026 Tulum Times reader poll for best beach club.
Papaya Playa Project

Why we recommend it: Papaya Playa Project hosts sunset rooftop DJ sessions, weekly dinners and a Sunday brunch on a 900 meter beach. It was a main venue of Tulum’s 2025 to 2026 electronic music season.

Why we recommend it: Zamna Tulum is a jungle venue on the highway south of Tulum that stages a series of large electronic music events each winter. Its 2026 season ran in early January with international headliners.
