Tankah is a Mayan word that means “the center of the town”, it was given as a name to the settlement found northeast of the city of Tulum, near the Mayan Ruins.

Today, Tankah Bay is surrounded by a beautiful beach, a magical cenote and the mouth of several freshwater channels that form one of the longest underground river systems in the world.

Located just a few miles from the city of Tulum, in the Mayan Riviera, surrounded by archaeological sites, breathtaking natural attractions and a rich autochthonous culture. With a sophisticated and organic architectural character, is able to combine comfort, amenities, easy access and tranquility with a luxurious lifestyle that coexists organically with the natural setting.

Tankah 52 is comprised of two towers with 13 units each, for a total of 26 condominiums, which have four different typologies: Garden, Middle, Studio and Pent-
house. Amenities include a lobby, lounge sun deck and infinity pool with a swim up bar.
The development’s architectural design was inspired by flowing waves and the sinuous shapes of a yacht. White curves that wrap around natural wood, the use of
glass and metal, as well as furniture inspired by nature, make this a project that stands out.

Sustainable and ecotechnologies are an important aspect of this project. The building will feature rooftop solar panels for energy savings as well as the reuse of rain and gray water through a collection system and treatment plant. In addition, the use of water softeners and thermal insulation will further aid in peacefully integrating its natural surroundings.
